Asia Zarin Madan Company was established in 2004 as a privately held company after obtaining a license from the Zanjan Province Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization. The company was founded with the aim of supplying concentrate required by ingot production units.
In 2005, Asia Zarin Madan Company successfully launched “Phase One” of its factory within six months, thanks to the efforts and cooperation of provincial authorities. “Phase Two” became operational in 2006. Iranian Zinc Industrial Expansion Company was originally established in 2005 under the name “Mica Roy Zanjan” as a privately held company, with the aim of producing 2,000 tonnes of zinc sheets annually. In 2011, the company was renamed “Iranian Zinc Industrial Expansion Company” and, within six years, successfully upgraded its operating license to obtain a permit for the annual production of 6,000 tonnes of zinc ingots.

During the Year of Production Leap, the company successfully obtained the country’s first COP product standard certificate for its knowledge-based products. This certificate was awarded for potassium octyl hydroxamate, a collector used in the flotation of oxidized and mixed copper minerals.
